Affili8, a UK-based online gambling newcomer, has undergone a name change to iGaming Agency (iGA). This new title, however, closely mirrors that of the India Gaming Association (IGA).
Established in 2020 in Stockton-on-Tees by Chris O’Rourke, Richard Paget, and Chris Sutherland, iGA has secured several agreements in recent months. They provide SEO, paid search engine optimization, social media promotion, affiliate marketing, and content creation services to customers. The company is positioned to exceed its Year 2 revenue goal of over £500,000 ($604,000) after obtaining numerous industry contracts.
“Our original strategy was to develop an affiliate network within the iGaming sector, promoting casinos and sportsbooks. However, market dynamics have led us to attract many businesses seeking consulting services as well,” stated founder Chris O’Rourke in a communication revealing the name change and achievements of the newly rebranded iGA.
“Beginning this venture as Affili8 created significant confusion when engaging with potential clients, as they did not anticipate us to also be offering SEO and other services.”
O’Rourke continued: “iGaming Agency as a business name is a ‘clear and concise’ brand name that establishes our primary area of proficiency. We currently function in 16 nations and are pleased that our dedication and hard work have yielded results in such a short period.”
This British fledgling company appears to believe a rebrand is the silver bullet, but if “iGaming Agency” will resonate or flop with UK residents, well, that’s up in the air.
