Competition, a video game enterprise, has been granted the RG Check accreditation from the Responsible Gaming Council (RGC).
This makes Competition the first esports platform to receive this accreditation from the RGC.
The RG Check program is a social accountability certification that acknowledges online betting websites that have instruments to monitor, evaluate, and manage gambling damage.
Ontario has made obtaining this accreditation a mandatory requirement for all operators seeking to enter the regulated online betting market. All operators must complete the program within two years of launching in the Ontario market.

Rivalry submitted an application for an Ontario sports wagering and internet gaming permit in October 2021. Their sports betting platform was launched in April 2022 alongside the regulated market.
